I am looking for a half rim frame that will take progressive lenses. I have a long, narrow face and currently have these details: 45 – 17 – 130. These are a little big on my face, but were the best I could find in a half rim at the time. Please send me any suggestions with those details or slightly smaller.

I’d recommend that you try the Nicci frame, on Pre-order. They are 45-15, so they will fit smaller than your current pair. They are not half-rim, but many women find that they do not need a half rim if the frame is correctly sized. They are a very thin metal and so the look will be delicate and subtle. The Nicci is also excellent for progressive lenses because they have plenty of height, and nose pads which help with correct placement on a progressive frame.

I’m so sad! I had purchased the Kara frames in the spring and had lenses put in, but the frames always seem a little too big for my face. It sounds like the mini-Kara would have been what I really needed! 🙁
